The Carte Blanche network of restaurants is happy to announce the opening of our new contemporary Turkish restaurant Lale cafe, located right next to Maidan Nezalezhnosti on Sofiivska Street # 14.

With this new venue Carte Blanche is bringing together a mix of turkish and european cuisine in a contemporary expression that is sure to please even the most discerning palates.

Furthermore, when it comes to service and value, we are sure that our customers will find our formula even more appealing.

For starters you can try our selection of Turkish appetizers like hummus (garbanzo puree) with marinaded seaweed, frigole peiaz (bean stewed with tongue), dzhadzhyk (natural yoghurt with cucumber, garlic and edible greens) and sarma (grape leafs stuffed with meat or sweet rice). This will incite your appetite towards other courses such as the grill menu which includes chicken and lamb lulia-kebab, shashliks, the freshest assortment of fish from the mediterranean, marmara and black seas and our very special selection of fusion dishes, which bring the best of all worlds to your plate. After this, if you can still find place for more, you will be offered a selection of traditional Turkish teas and coffees with rakhat-lukum and fine dessert options like baklava with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate, Turkish khalva, apple-pear pie “Revani”, pear marmele with chocolate and assorted sorbets.
